Some key points you might like to include in your email:

1) How much you enjoy Metcalf Motorcycle Park
2) How often you ride there
3) How popular the park is
4) The importance of proper trail maintenance
5) The importance of Rangers
6) The importance of erosion control

Below is an example of a email that was sent off.

Dear OHMVR Division,

I often ride my dirt bike at Metcalf Motorcycle Park. I see thousands of other riders who also enjoy Metcalf as it is one of the most popular parks in the South Bay.

The grant money that the state provides to Metcalf is extremely important for the continued maintenance of Metcalf Motorcycle Park.

Due to the popularity of Metcalf, weekly maintenance of the trails and tracks are required for safe operation. In addition erosion control is also an important safety concern as well as ensuring a sustainable future for OHV activity.

The Rangers and staff at Metcalf Motorcycle Park do a wonderful job and we all appreciate their dedication. So the money for this grant is money well spent.

Thank you,
